Artist Oils work out best for me Acrylics and I don’t get along. This was done in about a half hour. The idea is to get the basic work done and then come back later and touch up the unnatural. I keep the nearest foreground about a mile away as anything closer requires detail I’m not willing to do.
The next model scenes will be more Route 66 stuff like a motor lodge, truck stop and such with this continuing backdrop.
