Description
This size is approximately .75-1.25 inches, which is close to our G Scale Ballast.
These polished rocks create contrast, texture, and realism for all scales and types of scenery.
Compatible with Many Layout Themes
You can use smooth stone for mountain trails or desert washes. It works great in HO, N, or O scale. Because each stone has a varied size and color, it supports realism. Garden railway hobbyists also appreciate the durability. Even with outdoor use, the color stays consistent. That’s due to the natural source and gentle tumbling process. Unlike painted plastic rocks, these won’t chip or fade.
Creative Ways to Use the Product
Try using smooth stone to fill a bucket in a construction diorama. Alternatively, build a shoreline with damp effects. Although the stones are dry, a clear gloss coat creates a wet appearance. Another idea is scattering them across a maintenance yard. They simulate worn surfaces well, especially near service buildings. Many users also line their rivers with this product. When arranged carefully, it imitates erosion beautifully.
