I’m just starting a Santa Fe layout for the 1950-70 era in HO. I’m wondering whether to use HO or N scale ballast. Which looks best? Also can
t decide whether the Winslow 5000 series or the Mauve 117 series is most authentic.
Appreciate if you could advise and I’ll place an order.

Now use 500 if you are modeling Arizona.
