O Scale Rock-Size Quick Guide
Read the final size digit of the product number. Move upward when the scene needs a larger rock appearance.
Small Rocks
A rock product ending in 5 is the small-rock starting point for O scale.
6Medium Rocks
Move up to an ending of 6 for a medium-rock appearance in O scale.
7+Large Rocks
Use endings of 7 and higher when O scale terrain needs larger stone.
6+Boulders
For O scale, products ending in 6 and bigger can be used as boulders.
03Sand, Gravel & Rip Rap
The special 03 ending is Sand & Gravel and can also serve as rip rap.
